MHCP’s Family Center Program provides a community-based, family oriented, specialized mental health service to adults, children, and their families. The Family Center’s mission is to help families learn to function more supportively and effectively. The clinical staff supports and facilitates each family’s potential for learning, growth, and emotional stability.  Adults, children and families who experience or have experienced abusive relationships are our primary focus. Using evidence based therapeutic interventions, the supportive Family Center staff work with individuals and families to recover from trauma, improve relationship skills, increase emotional strengths and develop positive coping mechanisms. We are committed to help strengthen family relationships and reduce the likelihood of future difficulties.

MHCP’s Community Care Program provides a community-based, family oriented, specialized mental health service for children 5 to 18 years old suffering from significant emotional and or behavioral challenges.  A comprehensive plan is developed with the family to meet their child’s mental health and other needs with the goal of attaining stabilization in the community and avoiding psychiatric hospitalization. Our innovative staff provides individualized and compassionate care to meet the needs of youth and their family and promotes solutions and guidance to achieve established goals and outcomes.  Developing relationship skills, emotional regulation, and learning positive coping techniques help children achieve their true potential.

Psychiatric evaluations and medication management are available as needed for clients of the Family Center and Community Care Programs.

Our staff is respectful of cultural diversity and services in both Spanish and English are available.
